This was the first time that we had used external mediation to resolve a highly sensitive and emotive workplace dispute in our India office, but it will definitely be a process that we will embed in our people practices moving forwards.
We were well supported by the CAMP Mediation team from the beginning to end with time, care and attention taken to help us understand, design and prepare for the process, answering our questions and guiding us through to a successful outcome with clear recommendations for enhancing workplace collaboration.
We benefitted greatly from the experience and skill set of our mediator, Laila Ollapally, who was able to help the individuals concerned better understand how their actions can be perceived by others. This meant that they experienced a collaborative and empowering rather than adversarial resolution process.
