Training Coordinator

After graduating from NALSAR University of Law, Nivedita pursued an LL.M in Alternative Dispute Resolution at the University of Missouri, Columbia School of Law. Over the past 15+ years, she has cultivated a rich and diverse career as a mediator and trainer in both India and the US. Nivedita has mediated a wide array of disputes, including complex commercial matters, sensitive family conflicts, property disputes, restorative justice cases, and school-related issues. Her hands-on experience spans different cultures, legal systems, and contexts, giving her a nuanced understanding of conflict resolution in varied settings.

In addition to her mediation practice, Nivedita has worked extensively as a trainer with participants from all walks of life. She has trained lawyers, bankers, United Nations officials (including hostage negotiators), and students and faculty at institutions like Columbia Law School and New York University. Her engagements have included training diplomats and negotiators at the United Nations, New York, as well as collaborating with multinational corporations such as Mercedes, Bosch, Wells Fargo, and Novartis. She has also led grassroots mediation initiatives and spearheaded a landmark conflict resolution project for religious organizations in India.

Currently, Nivedita serves as the Training Coordinator at CAMP Arbitration & Mediation Pvt. Ltd., where she leverages her deep mediation expertise to design and deliver impactful training programs. Her work is driven by a belief in the transformative power of mediation and a commitment to equipping individuals with conflict management and negotiation skills as essential tools for personal and professional success.
